Cool New Finds
August 31st, 2008Just when I thought it was all done already someone comes up with keyboard characters. The question is would I buy it. Being that they have custom ones you can make heck ya!
I remember placing so many kick me signs. These are great because they are done and have a good graphic design spin on them. Can’t beat free.
In case you need instruction on how to apply the Kick Me Sign you can view the instructions here.

Sleeveface Gone Wild
July 1st, 2008Yesterday afternoon we headed to Thrift Town because I needed magazines for an art project. While there I noticed a shelf of old records and remembered a post I read about Sleevefaces. Sleevefacing at the thrift store is the best because all the costumes you need are there.
If you don’t understand what sleeveface is, here is what wiki explains it as:
Sleeveface is an internet phenomenon wherein one or more persons obscure or augment body parts with record sleeve(s), causing an illusion.
Here is a website devoted to sleeveface http://www.sleeveface.com.
Well here are our sleevefaces:

Changes to come
May 30th, 2008Hello all, it has been a while since I last posted. It has been a wild past month. May has been a long month for us here with several medical occurrences and staying busy completing a research paper for school and not to mention we will be moving soon. Through it all, I have decided to redefine myself; what I stand for and who I am as a husband, a father, a brother, a friend, a student, an artist and a business owner.
My wife and I have had several ideas, some for her and some for me. One of the things I have been constantly thinking about was this blog, and some of the other ideas I have in my bag of tricks. So all in all I decided to write a paper on the definition of this blog. What should it be and what should I consistently talk about? I am still defining at this point but will post the definition here soon. One of the thoughts is that I will separate the blog (web and tech) from my personal, hence having two different blogs. I find that trying to achieve both purposes on this one blog is getting kind of tough because of the many different business owners (current clients) that visit this website.
Please bear with me as we will start to make these changes this summer. There may be a possible domain name change but all in all, this website domain will funnel all traffic to the right place.
Thanks for stopping by and I can’t wait for these changes to take place. Plus the addition of my wife’s online store (can’t spill the beans yet).

Tomorrow at 3:00PM
January 26th, 2008I am so excited that I had to blog about it. Tomorrow at about 3:00pm I have a personal shopping meeting at the Apple Store. After my many questions and many thoughts I should be coming home with “HER”. You ask who is she? My reply is who is she not! I am looking at a 17inch mactop, about 2.6ghz with 2 gigs of ram. Nothing to scream about other than the ability to call her my own. I have waited a whole year for her and can’t believe the moment is finally here.
Okay I know I went a little overboard with this one, but I am excited can you tell? When I do have my mactop I will post pictures of her and I at the park.
Bakers Edge
January 12th, 2008I don’t remember what I was surfing for but I came across a website with a certain invention. It is one of those inventions that you look at and say “I could have thought of that”. I will admin that I am an edge man. When my wife cooks lasagna I always go for the edge, it’s something about that crispy cheese that I love. Well this invention is called the Bakers Edge, where everything cooked in it is an edge. GENIUS! I will be honest and tell you that it was love and first site.
My Veteran’s Day weekend?
November 11th, 2007Thursday
I have had an interesting past few days starting on Thursday (Nov 8th). President Bush was in town visiting the Brooke Army Medical Center (President Bush Visits SA). I didn’t think I was going to see Air Force One on the way home but we did and were able to snap a quick picture.
Friday
Next day Friday we went to a Veteran’s event with my father-in-law. I also can’t stay away from Barnes & Noble and Borders so I went and purchased PHP 5 in Practice to do some catching up on. Seems like a great book so far.
That same day my beautiful wife and I went to H-E-B to get some sandwich stuff. There we ran into Veronica Montelongo from the show Flip This House. You can visit their website at Armando Montelongo. We kindly asked for a picture and she agreed.
Saturday
My mom and brother came in town so we had a full house. With Elaine’s parents and my mom and brothers. We piled in the vehicle and visited one of the favorites places to go La Cantera. I showed my father-in-law and my brother the new iTouch at the Apple Store there. Now all three of us are in a competition to see who can get one first. We then went to Pico De Gallo for dinner… OMG it was great.
Sunday
Working on my new school project, where we have to college a poster together either monotone or dual tone and I will post the process book and final project when it is done.
Over the weekend I created a Twitter account, MyBlogLog account and I am going to be adding some of their widgets to my blog.
So it has been a great, busy but fun weekend and I can’t wait to have more.
A Day Downtown Before Halloween
October 29th, 2007We had some family in town this past weekend and did some great site seeing in our new city. San Antonio is by far one of the most haunted cities in the entire state of Texas, according to Melissa Martinez on About.com (Read Story). We first hit The Mercado (Market Square) and I can’t explain how great the Mexican food smells there. Photos below are of the Market Square outside and inside, one photo is of a table for Dia De Los Muertos.

Walking over the River Walk Mall we stopped by a museum that was once The Spanish Governor’s Palace. The palace has 10 rooms a garden in the back with a water fountain and a well.
Today, the Spanish Governor’s Palace is the only example of an 18th-century Spanish aristocratic home remaining in Texas.
Story has it that a woman was raped, murdered and thrown in a nearby well. When renovating the building they did in fact find remains of a woman. Criminals were hung on the knotted tree below and that if you look close to the tree next to it you can see a face. Workers have discovered the painting over the fireplace across the room on the floor.
Below is hanging tree:
The well where the woman was found.
Tree with face in it.
Needed photoshop help.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
